We always knew it would be touch-and-go whether we could show the Amarok V6 Ultimate doing what it was capable of. I mean, when you’ve got a class-leading V6 putting out 580Nm of Torque, it’s difficult to create an ad with ‘appropriate demonstrations of power’. Ironic. So, when we filmed the most powerful ute in its class driving up the side of a mountain, dodging exploding boulders, it didn’t come as a huge surprise that we weren’t allowed to show you most of it.
