Parkes Elvis Festival – Parkes, NSW

A vibrant celebration of the life and music of Elvis Presley, the Parkes Elvis Festival is held annually in Parkes in the second week of January to coincide with the birthday of The King.

The festival program includes more than 200 events taking place at venues in and around Parkes, including Elvis tribute artists, dance lessons, food experiences and more. Now in its 28th year, the Parkes Elvis Festival is a mainstay on the NSW events calendar and attracts more than 26,000 people.

Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show – Melbourne, Vic 

March 25 – 29, 2020

The most colourful event in Victoria is a great reason to visit Melbourne in 2020. March marks the 25th anniversary of the Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show, held in the beautiful, heritage-listed Royal Exhibition Building and adjacent Carlton Gardens over five early Autumn days. With displays, performances, workshops, retail stalls and more, this visual feast of an event is a celebration of the art and joy of gardening.

Agnes Blues, Roots and Rock Festival – Agnes Water and 1770, Qld

February 21 – 23, 2020

The twin towns of Agnes Water and 1770 play host to some of the country’s leading blues and roots musicians over a fun-filled weekend in February. The gateway to the Great Barrier Reef (and visited recently by RV Daily while shooting Foodie Trails), this idyllic setting is the perfect place to set up the van and unwind while listening to the likes of Tex Perkins and the Fat Rubber Band, Jeff Lang and more.

The Karijini Experience – Karijini, WA

April 14 – 18, 2020

The Karijini Experience is a celebration of art, music, food and culture in the magnificent Karijini National Park, a stunning setting for a unique cultural interpretation. The six-day program offers a selection of intimate, authentic, once-in-a-lifetime experience presented by a mix of Traditional Owners, nationally-renowned artists and talented locals. Parrtjima; a Festival in Light – Alice Springs, NT

April 3 – 12, 2020 

An authentic First Nations festival of art and culture, Parrtjima showcases the oldest continuous cultures on earth through the newest technology, all on a 300-million-year-old natural canvas against the backdrop of the MacDonnell Ranges. Held across two event precincts over 10 nights, this free event includes incredible artwork and light installations alongside a 10-night public program of interactive workshops, music, films and talks.
