REDARC has released a new Mounting Kit to improve the installation of its award-winning Tow-Pro Elite. The kit is designed to simplify the installation of the brake controller main unit under the dash of a vehicle. It fastens the main unit with two M4 bolts either at right angles, in-line or diagonally across the main unit. It also features an M6 slot and nut/bolt allowing connection to the vehicle on a suitable M6 stud or M6 hole. The material of the bracket is rigid to support the main unit but can still be bent should the installation require it.

REDARC Tow-Pro Elite Mounting Kit

The Uniden App Cam Solo 4G helps keep your caravan and campsite secure while you’re off exploring. The wireless unit comes with a solar panel that can be mounted to the roof of the van to provide continuous power. It takes a regular mobile SIM card and operates on the cellular network, so it doesn’t require a Wifi connection. Long Range Automotive (LRA) has released a large capacity replacement fuel tank for the RAM 1500 Laramie pick-up truck. The 190-litre replacement tank offers a significant increase over the standard tank, which is 98 litres. It’s manufactured from 2mm aluminised steel, etch primed and finished in silver hammertone enamel. Like all LRA tanks, it’s fully baffled, has a drain plug and retains original vehicle emission control systems. LRA says it also hopes to release a long-range tank for the RAM 1500 Express models in 2020.
