AL-KO launches Enduro X suspension with more to come for 2020

AL-KO has been working hard behind the scenes to create an all-new suspension system called Enduro X. This product is exclusive to AL-KO and enhances the Enduro range of suspensions currently available.

The Enduro X is a full off-road independent trailing arm suspension system designed for caravans to hit the dirt with confidence and was launched at Leisurefest in Melbourne last month. According to Brad Hooper, Marketing Services Manager, “The biggest change to our Enduro is the clam shell suspension arm that retains its strength while reducing overall weight.”

Mr Hooper explained that “Incorporated into the system is a bolt-on forged stub axle. This allows for adjustable ride height and extra strength. AL-KO use their own premium off-road shock absorbers that have an upgraded metal casing and Aussie made coil springs.”

A premium black eCoat is used on the suspension system to ensure the best possible rust and chip resistance.

“We are really excited to launch this new Enduro product,” Mr Hooper said.

As part of the Leisurefest event, Brad also talked about the exciting mid-2020 launch of the Dexter Tow Assist ABS and anti-sway system being developed in conjunction with Bosch Australia. We first glimpsed this system a year ago being tested at the Anglesea Proving ground and walked away super impressed.

On show at Leisurefest was the American drum system to show how the ABS will receive its signal to function. The Aussie system, complete with studs to suit our vehicles, is still being manufactured and as mentioned is due for release in mid-2020.
