Jayco adds off-road caravan to ‘Journey’ range

Jayco has launched an off-road model within its best-selling ‘Journey’ range. The ‘Jayco Journey All-Terrain’ adds a string of off-road features to what Jayco calls its ‘tough yet comfortable’ Journey line of caravans.

The new off-road model has a DO35 off-road coupling with 360-degree rotation, a thicker section A-frame and front checker plate protection, resulting in what Jayco claims to be a stronger and more agile product. It features Jayco’s Endurance chassis and JTech 2.0 suspension, with rubber protection on the underside.

“People can expect to experience a tougher caravan fit for off-road conditions.

The Jayco Journey All-Terrain is available in both a three- and five-berth model, both incorporating new internal features including weight-saving aluminium furniture construction.

Scott Jones, Jayco Australia national sales manager, says the popularity of the Journey range has driven the demand to produce a more robust off-road version.

“The Jayco Journey range is still our most popular range and it was only a matter of time before we were able to add an all-terrain option,” Mr Jones said. “People can expect to experience a tougher caravan fit for off-road conditions.”

The Jayco Journey All-Terrain starts from $69,990. Click here for more information.
